Acrylic Plastic Glasses, Dishes & Tableware Care Recommendations:

Durability:
Acrylic plastic glasses and dishes are break-resistant, but not completely unbreakable. Acrylic plastic tableware is a good alternative to glass for outdoor use since it won't shatter dangerously like glass drinkware or ceramic tableware.
Dishwasher use:
Hand washing is recommended for acrylic plastic drinking glasses and dishes to retain their luster and beauty. Some acrylic tableware is labeled "top rack dishwasher safe." Acrylic can be washed in the dishwasher, but it will eventually cloud and possibly craze (show fine lines) due to the heat of the dishwasher.
Microwave use:
Acrylic drinkware and dishes are not recommended for microwave use.
Scratching and Wear: Acrylic plates are not scratch-proof.
