Make Florals the KidSmart Way
Floral arrangements, whether fresh, dried, or even silk, are among the first decor items to disappear from tabletops when children arrive, and for good reason. But don't give up! Wall florals are a fun and easy way to brighten any area.
Create a great arrangement in a wall basket, sconce, or hanging vase and display for all to see... but not touch.

Materials:
Selected Stems
Hanging Container or Basket with a flat side
Floral Foam
Floral Glue (Tacky Glue or low-heat hot glue)
Floral Scissors or Wire Cutters
Nail for hanging (or decorative hanging hook)
Wire for securing container to nail (optional)

Step 1: Create and Hang
Even though wall florals are well out of reach, never underestimate a toddler with a chair! Once the arrangement is set, we pull the stems out of the foam and apply a dot of glue to each, then replace, and glue the foam block to the bottom of the basket. For extra security, wrap a short length of floral wire around the basket handle (or container hanger), then wrap around the hanging nail a few times.
