Fun Shui melamine dishes are shatterproof and dishwasher safe, but not recommended for microwave use (melamine dishes will heat up in the microwave). While much more durable than stoneware and lesser plastics, Melamine plastic is not 100% unbreakable and may chip or break if dropped on hard surfaces.
